The Ferrari Daytona SP3, introduced in 2021, is part of the exclusive Icona series of models, designed as modern tributes to the great Ferrari racing cars. Its name "Daytona" celebrates the historic 1967 victory at the 24 Hours of Daytona, when Ferrari placed three prototypes (330 P3/4, 330 P4, and 412P) on the top three steps of the podium, beating Ford.
The SP3's design is driven by a desire to pay homage to the golden age of endurance racing in the 1960s, reinterpreting the spectacular lines of the era's classics with a contemporary aesthetic. It also embodies a manifesto: Ferrari chose a naturally aspirated, non-electrified V12, a symbol of pure passion, despite the era of hybridization.
The Daytona SP3 is therefore both a celebration of Ferrari's glorious past in competition and a modern collector's item, reserved for a few privileged customers, which combines heritage and exclusivity.
