The Lamborghini Urus, presented in 2017 and marketed in 2018, is the brand's first modern SUV and one of the most strategic models in its history. It draws inspiration from the Urus concept unveiled in 2012 and, even further back, from the LM002 of the 1980s, Lamborghini's first off-roader.
Behind the Urus, there is the ambition to open Lamborghini to a wider audience without denying its original identity. This model was a huge commercial success, quickly becoming the brand's best-seller and ensuring a key part of its growth.
The Urus therefore embodies a deliberate departure: an SUV that combines luxury, versatility, and extreme performance, while remaining true to Lamborghini's signature image of excess and sportiness. It is a modern pillar, as important to the brand as the V10 and V12 supercars.
